Well folks, we have finally done it!

After a tight battle, the Gold Coast Bridge Club is delighted to prevail (after many years) over the Ballina Bridge Club in the annual competition for the Neil Raward trophy. 

A big effort from all our players.

Originally the caption for this photo was going to be along the lines of "Ballina edges out our club (again!)", but the great news is that subsequent to the Ballina players returning to their homes (taking the trophy with them), a subsequent recount resulted with us ending up in front, so now the caption may be better described as "Gold Coast prevails to take possession of the trophy!"
