The Gold Coast Bridge Club is committed to attracting and retaining more youth to the sport of bridge.
Until the end of the year in which a young person turns 25, they:
- do not pay any annual club subscription (and can join the ABF Youth Club for free),
- do not pay for lessons,
- do not pay table fees for our regular program, and
- get a 50% (or more!) discount for special events.
Several of our young members have played for the Queensland Youth Team, and one has represented Australia in the World Youth Bridge Championships.
Paul Brake, one of our Tournament Directors, is the Queensland Bridge Association's Youth Co-ordinator.
